From Greg's Blog:

New Jersey RB interested in Bulls

Here's the rare May football recruiting update: Jaslee Rouson, a 5-foot-10, 225-pound running back from Budd Lake, N.J., told me Monday night he's "definitely" interested in USF and counts the Bulls among five schools he's considering after being released from a letter of intent to Colorado.

if nothing else it could help the nj ties for recruiting.

What does size sound like? ;D

Seriously, why would you presume he would be a good back-up Chitown?  He signed with CU and Gary Barnett?  He is the 24th best player, post season, in NJ, and had offers from Maryland, UNC, Wake, cuse, and Rutgers at the time of his signature to CU.  Even now, NMST, Temple, and Cuse are still offering.  Son of an NFL and big college player.  This kid is intriguing, hard to be sure what to make of him but you've got to think he's got potential.  Also you've got to like that size, speed combo...we could use a big back.

Size sounds like ringing bells and birds chirping when you are run over by that 225lb back.  ;)

Good point, especially one that runs a 4.5 forty.

Wrong.  If you actually read the article, you wouldn't have failed to realize that he is from the 2006 recruiting class.  There are no 'better guys in florida' who are available to sign LOIs now.
