With three conference games remaining, USF still holds their season in their own hands.  If USF wins two games, the Bulls advance to the Big East tourney.  If they only win one game and Georgetown takes two out of three from Pittsburgh, I believe the Hoyas have the advantage by taking 2 of 3 from the Bulls earlier in the season.  Which leads us to Villanova.  They have four games left with Big East opponents.  They must have had some rainouts earlier, because they are the only team with that many conference games left.  Technically if they win all four they will have a better record than USF even though they don't play each other.  Here are the current standings from the Big East website.

After studying the schedules, it appears Villanova only played UConn twice this year, so this is where the discrepancy is with the Wildcats.  I guess if need be, they'd have to play the Huskies to compete for that last spot in the Big East Tournament in Clearwater.  The only other teams to have played 23 or less conference games to date are UConn (22) and  St. John's (23).
