Whitaker to get first Arena action as Tampa Bay finishes up season

Tampa Bay's 16-year run in the Arena Football League playoffs is officially over. The Storm were eliminated from playoff contention Sunday when Austin won its game. That clinched a spot for the Wranglers, the only team left that the Storm could have won a tiebreaker against.

This Saturday the Storm will, for the first time, have their regular season finale also be their last contest. Huey Whitaker, a former USF star receiver and Buc practice squad member, was called up Thursday and will be on the field for Saturday night's game at Nashville.
