Guest BasketBull.

Sorry, Howie...

I only want to make sure our coaching staff and players know that we can't do the same thing again this next season.

Somebody has to get that rock to our receivers!

In my opinion, USF's offense will depend on how quickly the incoming TB's can pick up the offense, specifically Hall, and at least one of the HS TB's (Jones, Copeland, or Ponten).  By picking up the offense, I am referring to their ability to run the right routes out of the backfield and pick up the blocking schemes appropriately.  This is vital for a coaching staff to be able to disguise plays and run both passing and running plays out of a base offense.  If the TB's can't prove to be anything more than a running threat, the coaches are limited on what they can call when that particular TB is in the game.

Fisher hasn't proven he can be a feature back, even though he has proven that he is a very talented player.  I think he fits the mold at slot or as a 3rd down back.

Obviously, the QB position is key, but it looks like JL has been pleased with the improvement of PJ and RB.  Again, I think it boils down to the TB's that are to report in August.

I just hope our O-Line can make the transition in a short time to change to Run Blocking as well as we Pass Block.

But I agree with Play Calling  :-/

Go BULLS !!!

I second Fisher not being the featured back.  Crossley, Hall or Jones will be.  He's third down back material and Red Zone material only.  Hmmm wonder if the Bull's will run a reverse to Mr. "Wait 'til Payday" Fisher?  Sorry couldn't help myself.

if they run same scheme spread there still will be problems because you IT IS  impossible to consistently run from 1 back formation out of shot gun unless you have 5 OL 340 lbs with etreme quickness

to run effectively it must be done with 2 rbs

I feel that Fishers best years will be in 18-20 when his kids grow up.  Sorry, I couldn't pass it up!

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
