I'm conflicted.

*If Memphis wins it's good for strength of conference and strengthens Memphis rating, so WHEN we beat them it'll makes us look even better. BUT...

* If it comes down to three or four teams all with the same records at the end of the season, will the overall record come into play? If so, we need Memphis to lose a key game just like we lost to Bama so that they don't have a better overall record than we do. BUT...

*I WOULD LOVE FOR USF TO HAVE THE BEST RECORD IN THE STATE THIS YEAR, so having FSU lose more games is good for us...

Do... confusing..😕.thoughts  anyone?

I think it would be better for us for Memphis to beat FSU, then for us to beat Memphis.

FSU is an out-of-conference game for Memphis, like Alabama and Miami are for us. I think only conference records matter in terms of winning the AAC.

As long as we beat Memphis is all that matters.

So go Memphis.

I am rooting for Memphis. Our conference needs quality OOC wins. Although I am not sure if FSU will constitute a quality win this year.

Regardless if we end up with same AAC record as Memphis doesnt head to head decide it?

CFP is based on the highest ranked G5. Memphis right now is #25. We need them to win vs everyone but USF.
