Terrible idea and complete waste of funds. I live about 15 minutes from this campus. It is and will never be more than a commuter campus. It's not meant to be anything more. They're trying to replicate the model of the St. Pete campus, I guess. It's apples and oranges. Students in the Sarasota/Bradenton area who want a "traditional campus experience" can go to Tampa (or St. Pete) and live on campus. There is NOTHING for traditional college-age students in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. Ask New College how that's going.
