On top of all other concerns climate change is going to be an issue. Who wants, or is able, to sit in 115+ degree heat index for hours?

Awesome point.  But those upper deck seats will gain in value when the campus is under water.

But we have three years before we have to worry about that.  The stadium won't be ready yet.  We can train at RJS.

You must mean train the fans because the team will be training in an air conditioned indoor practice facility. Anyway, the NFL has a lot more money to address the issue, all their new stadiums being domes.  I expect the older stadiums will be replaced with domes or have something like Miami did to place fans in the shade.  The only way I’d watch a game in Jax would be from their end zone pool section.

Of course I meant the fans.

No cover over Arizona State's stadium, and it reaches 118 out here in pre-cataclysmic times

And the humidity is 28%. Not 60%. Huge difference.

Says the unknowing.  Sit in 118 for 30 minutes.

Humidity makes a difference in comfort levels at life-sustaining levels.

Core body heats starts to rise in high humidity when it’s only in the high 80s.

Who cares?

What happens at 118?  Get the chills?

This so stupid, I'll carry on with you in the Trough if you choose.

It has always been hot during early football season so nothing new. I remember hoping that that USF OCS would have an overhang for shade many years ago. Things will be fine. People are tough and will adapt. Go Bulls!!
