By the way, I subscribed to the Athletic for a discount rate of $25.  I did not renew.  Content is good, but I didn't consume much.  I also don't remember seeing much about the Bulls and that's all I would read.

Based on those quotes, there are rapid facts in this article haha...  He is right that there is no way that UCF should have passed us, but they definitely have.  It will have to be the kick in the pants we need.

Sounds like he didn't go to the extra mile to make certain high school coaches feel special, and the ones that feel burned are the loudest. God it must suck to be a college coach. Not only do you have to recruit 16-18 year olds, you also need to make sure your feeding the ego of the grown adults around them.

I also wonder if Willie had the same problem that some of our past coaches had with certain HS coaches in the Orlando area. It's coaches who either grew up as fans of the Big 3 or only see the P5 as worthy destinations for their top tier talent. So instead, they try to only send their borderline FCS talent kids to us and get mad when we don't take them.
