I am smart enough to know that I know very little to nothing about coaching a college football team.  I am a tad bit opinionated at times, that may rub some people wrong at times.  I am simply stating this is not a big loss, his play calling was subpar at best, surprised more don’t agree, if I am in the minority than that is fine.

It may not be a big loss but it's definitely a loss when you're trying to set a foundation, especially on the side of the ball that wasn't a complete train wreck last year. And I've never really quite understood how someone can offhandedly separate sub par play calling from sub par execution. Seems like you would need some serious video game by game analysis to do that intelligently ....

CCS replaced his OC in year 3 and that worked out swimmingly for us in my recollection.  In all seriousness, his play calling was suspect at best, I know everyone loves continuity but he is very replaceable, you guys are acting like we lost an offensive mastermind, he is a kid in his twenty’s that was promoted way too quick.

He is lousy and too young to be a USF OC.  That is why he is headed to an SEC school to be an OC.

What?

Subpar play calling is loading the short side of the field and then running wide to the short side giving your team no chance and doing this numerous times.  Calling the same play again after the first one did not work and doing it after a time out. Continually running an RPO after your young QB has shown he cannot read what his best option is.  There is plenty of opportunity for execution however our play calling wasn’t very good on numerous occasions.  I guess there are those that think because he is going to Ole Miss that he must of been a great OC, I simply don’t think he was.  We shall see.
