Unfortunately due for a letdown. CJF talked about trying to keep them focused after the last win. They weren't running the table so hopefully they get this out of the way now.

Exactly. You can't afford to lose games like this because you ultimately penalize yourself with respect to tournament seeding positioning. If they don't run the table from here on out, this loss will stick out like a sore thumb. We're looking at a five seed at best presently.

Overscheduled. Five games in 11 days - all with travel and against top-shelf competition. They looked tired from the opening tip and got nothing from Elena T. and Maria A. Have to have scoring from those two. CLASSIC trap game on the road against a no-name program with decent talent that played as well as they will all year with a ranked team in their house.

I guess now they know that they can play with anybody and get beat by anybody.

Maria has struggled much of the year.  Not sure what's going on.  Looking at box scores this year she's had:

3, 10, 6, 6, 1 ,0, 0, 0

Needs a boost of confidence.

They missed so many layups and wide open shots. UT Arlington is a decent team, but we played a D level of basketball and were still in it until the end. This one is 100% on the players. No focus. No off-ball movement. No urgency. Hopefully this is the wake-up call that they needed. I think that we are starting to see the beginning of parity in women's basketball, which would be great for the sport. There are still the absolute elite programs, but we are seeing more and more upsets and fewer undefeated and 1 or 2 loss teams than ever before.
