I am not holding out hope for good attendance for this one.  It will be a holiday weekend, and I am sure the fraternities and sororities will be having their rush that weekend and won't be able to attend.  I am guessing 25k actual attendance.

And until this team shows me otherwise, I am considering this a loss for USF.  The scars from that Tulane debacle are going to be with me probably until next October.

Based strictly on the quality of the teams, I would think that Louisville would be, but we will see. Home field might make a difference.

Yeah, that was what I was thinking and that the first game has a better chance of an upset as well.

I think there is a high probablity that the team starts out 1-3 again next season.  Will be interesting to see how both the team and coaching staff responds to the third year in a row being at 1-3.

Make sure you factor in whatever costs insurance won't cover when you're hospitalized for a heat stroke ....

I did think about the heat and that did give me pause. But if I can survive the Georgia Tech game I can survive this one as well. But this game is just too easy and cheap for me not to attend.

We can evaluate the boat load after the 15th.

Good thing we have reinforcements coming on the defensive line because that FCS caliber OL is going to be out there blocking again on September 3rd.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
