I'm fine with a time extension. He hasn't earned a bigger paycheck yet though. I like what he is doing with the program, and changing coaches every 2-3 years has set us back decades already.

Why would he get more time? He has 5 years to show some semblance of progress before we have to worry at all about retention what could possibly be a reason to get a jump on it? Seriously the entire department honestly needs to be fired it’s just a giant circle jerk of failure. Extending the contract of a three win coach just discussing the idea is reason for termination.

I love how people will say that something isn’t going to happen anyway and why be mad about it, then the exact thing will happen and they will defend it as being perfectly reasonable. I sure how CJS isn’t getting an extension because that idea is insane but if he in fact does that’s a problem that should not be okay with anyone in our fanbase but somehow will be excused away.
