GAME DAY vs. East Carolina

Following a dominating 34-14 win over Temple that ended a string of 13 conference losses, USF sets its sights on ending another streak as the Bulls look for their first conference road win since 2019. The Bulls will look to end a string of six conference road losses that dates to an Oct. 26, 2019 victory at ECU (45-20). USF is unbeaten (5-0) in Greeenville, N.C. and will also be looking to post back-to-back wins for the first time since winning at UConn (48-22) and vs. BYU (27-23) on Oct. 5 and 12 of 2019.

MANGHAM STYLE: Coming off a career-best 152-yard, two-touchdown performance vs. Temple, Jaren Mangham will look to extend his streak of six straight games with at least one touchdown (five with two or more) as he enters Thursday No. 4 in the nation with 12 rushing TD. His string is tied for the third longest in USF history with Quinton Flowers (6 straight in 2017) and behind Marlon Mack (11 in 2016) and Darius Tice (7 in 2017).He is currently tied for fourth on the USF season TD chart and closing on the season record of 18 set by Quinton Flowers in 2018.

CONFERENCE HONORS: For the second straight week, two Bulls were recognized in the American Athletic Conference Weekly honors as Jaren Mangham and Spencer Shrader earned Weekly Honor Roll recognition. Mangham ran for a career-best 152 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries, the Bulls eighth-best performance in an AAC game, and Shrader connected on a pair of field goals - including a 52-yarder that ranks third-longest in program history - to remain a perfect 9-of-9 on the year. USF earned AAC Conference Special Teams Player of the Week honors with Brian Battie the previous week (vs. Tulsa) and linebacker Antonio Grier was also named to the Honor Roll after posting a 69-yard interception return for a TD, a forced and recovered fumble, seven tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss.

They will look to continue that success against an East Carolina team that has been inconsistent stopping the run this season. The Pirates are sixth in the American Athletic Conference and 67th nationally in rushing defense at 149.4 yards per game. But against Houston, ECU held the Cougars to 87 total yards and only 2.4 yards per carry.
