But - aside from a little more TV revenue (increased expenses noted) the Medium 12 isn't necessarily a gold ticket to the promised land. If the playoffs ever expand to allow the Plebes a chance at participating, it's almost a non-issue. The remaining Medium 12 schools aren't close to the (football) brands of Ohio State, Alabama, etc. and I think the TV contract will probably reflect that.  

Question: Would you rather buy tix to see us play Tulsa, Tulane, SMU, East Carolina or Oklahoma State, Kansas, Baylor, TCU?

I think all eyes on the PAC12. If ESPN is the power behind the scenes, they could escape from the mediocre B12 by pulling strings to get OSU and KSU (perhaps even lure in BYU), which would put a nail on the coffin of B12's P5 status.

My moods are complicated which is why I don’t to measure things in terms of feelings and like you look at objective measurables. Perhaps I was mad at that moment, I do not recall exactly but at this moment I feel like most of my outrage is actually that he is doing fairly mediocre while so many boast of his greatness and how lucky we are. Like the tds moron that said Kelly needed to move on because we were holding him back, what exactly can be pointed to that would give anyone that opinion? MK is plain white bread, he isn’t a bad guy he is perfectly likable and would probably flourish in a settled environment. We are not settled we need to be uncomfortable and to make others uncomfortable, he just doesn’t seems to be the right guy for the moment as he seems like the kind of guy that embraces doing things the right way which for me is anyway that actually works.

Compared to what Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana? Yes. Locations a similar and we would be playing teams that are at least interesting.

Over the other options? Oh yeah. Those would be some cool trips. That's mostly why I'm upset about this... Not that UCF is in but I looked forward to visiting these places

To each their own. Lubbock, Waco, Lawrence, Ames are down my bucket list somewhere between Somalia & Afghanistan. Playing any of those teams doesn't move the needle much more for me than Memphis, SMU or Tulane...

Move the needle in football first?  So which of the four teams they are inviting is going to dominate the Medium 12 like Oklahoma and get invited to the Final Four CFP Playoff?   BYU?   Houston?   Cincy?  knits?

The more this guy talks, the more Aresco looks like a catch
