Don’t think I once laughed at a Gallagher joke…that of course was before I turned the channel in 20 seconds or less 😂

What's not to love about smashing watermelons or any fruit for that matter?

I love half of this reply

Agreed...this War Flamingo thing is just pointless. Some kind of Dollar Tree version of War Eagle I guess?

Our fans/student body seem to cheer while we are on offense. I would like this new tradition to disappear like a fart in the wind. Alumni tradition - when you see someone wearing green and gold, say something that centers around the university.

It's not that we don't have traditions it's that we have too many crusty old guys that like to complain about them

I’m old and I love traditions. I would love to see fans actually responding to the fight songs, “the Bull”. The only thing anyone who was around us would chant was U S F, U S F.

Not really. The cheerleaders try but not many people respond

You have to have people in the stands for that to work. They try it, but it sounds pathetic.

Tradition needs to come organically.  Fans aren't given the opportunity to create them because the game experience is scripted with piped music filling gaps between contests, announcements, etc.

Those traditions have to be built early on with the student body helping to lead the way. Our student body doesn’t know USF or football. It’s a serious problem. That said, we need students (and people like me) to come back to the seats. (No problem calling myself out)

What Student body?  Where do they sit?  I saw the band surrounded by red seats; but I saw no student body.
