Yeah, not a fan of the track around the field. We have that at UNH now and it really takes the fans away from the action. This pic shows how terrible it is.

Nathan was asked about the OCS on a FAMU podcast and said USF wants butts in seats at the new stadium for the 2025/2026 season. Also mentioned they want it at the current site of the track stadium.

He's way more plugged in at USF than I am so I'm not gonna call BS on those dates, but if true that shows some serious commitment. I've thought of 2025 as absolute best case.

Wait…could you even build a stadium that fast? I would think permits alone would take a few months. Another few months for materials. If so with what money?

I am still very skeptical about this stadium.  I still think the announcement was damage control to try to get the USF sheep to forget that ucf is off to the P5 and USF is left to play in the shytty AAC.  The administration at USF has absolutely no credibility.  I am not going to believe a stadium is coming until I see the construction begin.

Given that we're talking about USF, this pretty much guarantees that we'll get an OCS with track around the field.
