QB Stable:  Listened to CJS talking about Fortin, McClain and a touch of Marsh. But, Williams came into USF with some fanfare and with some fan optimism. He was sick before the first game. CJS never refers to the guy any longer. Williams as the Miami starter for a season has more game experience than any of our other QB's. Anybody hear any rumblings about this guy? CJS normally makes reference to all the quarterbacks when he is talking about them. This guy stopped in the Spring. Is he in the dog house, a non-issue, doesn't know the offense, academically deficient or just unhappy he transferred to USF. After watching our QB play the first 2 games I wouldn't think anyone really has a lock on the position. Figured I would inquiry-I find this a bit odd maybe one of you boys is in the know....

If he can’t beat out Fortin that’s a huge red flag. I have been completely underwhelmed by CF. Really a bummer after all the fluff n stuff I read.

Wouldn't that be EVERY quarterback on our roster through 2 games, seeing as how he started both games?

My point re: Williams. He was the starter all season(I believe) for Miami. Set a record in one game for passes-td's. They had a mid level season but it appears he did perform  pretty good for a freshman. Then D. King was hired so he bailed. Seems he has some pretty good game experience..but, he appears to be among the missing. CJL normally names them all but Nope...not Williams? Dog House? Out House?

Two ACC Transfers with playing experience, one a starter for most if not all the season.
