Very well said.  We have accomplished a lot, and we should not worry about any other program that our own.  Don't give the trolls a reason to mock us.  We will end up exactly where we are supposed to be.  There are going to be ups and downs, just enjoy the ride.

Honestly the negativity that got to me this week was the "Part 3" TDS article. This went a bit too far. Why call out our alumni association President? I've known Bill for a long time and to me he works as hard as anybody in the organization to build relationships and improve the state of things. Attacking the character of folks outside of athletics is a bridge way too far in any USF sports related forum. It's not just negative, it's unfair to those who work their butts off and are as frustrated as we are at times when things aren't going well.

They will read my post, because miserable people need **** to be negative about. Miserable or negative people need something to hate, dislike or complain about. So when they see positive s****t they go on the attack. Just look at @CousinRickyhe claims to not have read what I wrote,  yet he is still 2 comments in.

There have been times on this board where I have to admit some have seemed to thrive on their negativity.  Now, when USF just lost the opener to a slightly above average ACC team 45-0 while the conference we are in is now in a precarious situation and it seems we might get lucky to finish 2-10, it is hard for me to blame them for their negativity.  At least they still follow the program.  Those with an irrational point of view who loathed those terrible 8-5 seasons are now long gone. 

On a board of another team which is being left behind there is this gem of a statement "The AAC is resting peacefully, being kept pain free, surrounded by family".   My only positive statement in these times is I hope we will not be saying the same for the USF program in the near future.
