Strongly against.

A rivalry is a fun back and forth.

C. fans, on the other hand, are cocky, delusional, and untethered from reality. I want no part of what they are about.

We have better academics, in a few months will have a better indoor facility and in a few years will have a better stadium. We have a better AD and a better coach. I'm done with them.

Which one of the D1 wins from your coach make you think he's better than Gus?  Not knocking your opinion, I'm just wondering.

See Bulls fans, this C. fan is exhibit A of my point.

Not engaging, not feeding the troll.

Rivalry=ticket sales=revenue. Name any other team that can compete every other year with my formula.

I think rivalry games are good for college sports in general.  And they don't have to be schools in the same conference.  Look no farther than Florida / Florida State.   If USF and UCF stop playing each other then who would be USF's "rival"?  Miami (in state)?  Georgia Southern (regional)?  ECU (conference)?  Seriously, a school without a rival lacks "passion".   A previous poster commented on how USF could always play UCF close even in years where they were up and USF was down.   That passion to perform comes from RIVALRY.  And honestly, as bad as USF's football and basketball teams are right now they need all the passion they can get.

Keep the series going... We are currently at a deficit and need to level this back out.

Also, G5 USF beating P5 UCF will always be great.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
