The writing is on the wall.  He'll be gone in a year.  Heupel won't last long at Tennessee either.   Winning in the big boy conferences isn't easy.

Pure and simple, in my opinion, Nebraska is trying to find  just cause to not pay him his buy out. BTW, each assistant coach has a clause, that if the HC is released, they are as well, immediately.

The previous AD paid Scott way too much on an un called for ( way early) renewal, thus he is gone. The mud slinging has begun.

Again, just one old mans opinion.

An NCAA investigation is a little more than just mud slinging ...... and hopefully any of the coaches that came from UCF that do get fired socked away that mind boggling stupid bonus they received for winning a natty.

I am suggesting that Nebraska self reported.

Or, an disgruntled ex employee is trying to get even. Just a thought.

Both are definitely possible but to me mudslinging is just back and forth verbal accusations and this kind of goes beyond that ...... more like sabotage.

The only ethical thing is to win, this is only not ethical because losing is unethical
