Yea he is interesting converted TE to DE but played well in new role.  

Definitely reason to feel good about direction of this program in atleast bringing in more talent we have badly needed.

I'm even less confident in the defense now. That's the 3rd D-Line transfer player from the West Coast to "not" make it on the team. (Bo Peek and the Hawaiian dude) I hope they snatch somebody from the portal last minute.

Hopefully we offer somebody from the east coast. These west coast dudes aren't working out lol

Jeff Scott mentioned Tramel Logan and Jamari Stewart for dline improvement and making strides in the weight room.

Logan was 6'2 230 as a recruit. Played in every game as a true freshman and got a sack against Memphis.

Stewart was only 6'3 205 as a recruit. But transferred here from Mississippi State and had an Auburn offer.

If these guys we're really able to put on some size then I'm optimistic our pass rush will be better than last year. But probably not a good sign if our 2 most notable pass rushers are young enough they haven't been out of high school in a post covid world

Considering their sizes are the same on our official roster as they were in high school I'm guessing weights haven't been updated since offseason strength/conditioning. Wonder when we see that first depth chart with updated weights.
