Then don't take the job to begin with.  Why take a job, if you have any inkling you might not be here for longer than 2 seconds.  He had to know what the job entailed (work hours, pressures), before he took the job.  Otherwise, USF hired the wrong guy to begin with.

We have a lot of experience in this area.

More likely wasn’t getting along with our new Board members. This position gets a lot of political attention, won’t be surprised if some ex politician ends up being put in place.

Can you say Weatherford?

I suspected he wasn't long for the position when one of the longtime Bulls supporters observed to me early in Currall's tenure that he was not "a snappy dresser."   Oh, the horror.

Just saw this. Only 10 days ago, mentions a charge of discrimination was still pending.

But Howard, a lawyer and veteran diversity administrator who came to USF in 2016, said he and others “were subjected to what I perceived as one of the most disrespectful, thoughtless, offensive, and racist acts to have ever been carried out at the USF campus.”

Pictured Above: Cecil E. Howard (left), who departs today, calls the way that changes in his office’s responsibilities were handled “one of the most disrespectful...

Nope, diverse hire, I will guarantee it.  Vegas won’t even put this bet on the board.

Looks like we found the issue.   A turf war on the social justice battlefield.  Surprise.

He never had a chance once Howard went to the media.

Wow just read about it.  I've wondered how USF was able to stay above the fray for so long.

True, appears we have racists in very high positions at our beloved University.  I wonder if charges will be filed for this grave injustice.

Currall cited health and personal reasons for the surprise decision. He...

Not exactly glowing comments from some of our local politicians, based on what's quoted in the article above. There could be legs to being "asked to step down" theory.

Yep, he stumbled and it just happened to many times.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
