Steve?? Smazza?? Or someone else?

The one and only, he was constantly dragging down our accomplishments and comparing them to the team he actually supported of USC and for some reason Rutgers. Everything we did was garbage and being held back by CJL. Now we are actually hot garbage and for some reason (simply to defend his horribly indefensible position) he now pretends like things are peachy keen in the land that college football forgot. Did we get in embarrassed in the National spotlight absolutely, but we were in the national spotlight. Now we don’t have that problem but I don’t think it’s for quite the reasons we would like.

I have had a better debate with an orange juice can, Steve has a vocabulary at a 3rd grade level and has no idea what kind of football team we have or ever had.

You would be in the minority…99% of people in this board were happy with the hire (although this does not mean that 99% supported CJL getting fired).

So, you are admitting that I was right. Believe me, I take no solace in that.

I take a little solace in it. I remember talking to my exes father and he was like would you rather be happy or right? I told him I can’t be happy if I’m not right…

Wait…you said no one was excited by the hire and that simply was not true.

I for one at least applaud that he has stayed even if it is from naïveté

Holtz was a good second choice and the laughable hugger Judy and Dougie needed after the hysterics they ignited within the program.  The perfect dupe.

I said no one was honestly happy they just convinced themselves that they were (I’m going to let you in on a little secret I sometimes exaggerate things) and he said actually only me him and a few others saw the hire for what it was apparently no one else has eyes and they find this exciting holtz.jpg

his entire resume leading to here simply reads was the son of Lou Holtz and South Carolina even got Lou to sign there by promising that he would be the coach in waiting. He cost his dad two jobs and seeing him in action was enough from them to say what clause in what contract.

His Dad cost his Dad by hiring him. Yes, his name helped and I would say that was also the reason he got the L Tech job. He sucked but hey what are you going to do 🤷‍♂️
