Shut 'em down for 4+ innings to give us a chance to stay in the game and win it. Dirty Sanchez shutting it down. Eventually the hitting got to the Jag pitching/defense Due to a family engagement, I had to watch the game cast so I didn't get to actually see Kerkering throwing, but I was sweating his last couple batters. Was that his longest outing of the year?

All started with a conference championship It actually started in the last series of the year versus ECU. USF took the last two games of that series and they have been brimming with confidence ever since. The pitching in that series was really phenomenal. There really was only one bad inning against that powerhouse of a team and I think it gave them alot of confidence. The Conference Tournament only enhanced it. And Gainesville was more of the same. The pitching has been really good over the last 3 weeks. When you have good pitching and you field the ball, the offense doesn't have to do too much. Thankfully the O has done just enough. Guest Jonesy Bull
The previous post just said it best. Congratulations BaseBulls, you earned it and deserve this special moment. I was one of the many doubters (I am not alone) that didn't think this team could win this Regional. Boy was I wrong. This team has confidence, grit and talent, and most of all resilience to win big games. They have done it time and time again. USF has a Champion! Sweet 16 appearance. How sweet it is. GO BULLS!! BEAT texas!!

Also a long time football season ticket holder. I attended all the Bulls games this weekend and some Florida and South Alabama (also a good team) games as well. To me the bottom line is this is an improving team that is well coached and never stops believing in themselves. Really enjoyable to be at the games and watch these guys play and support each other.
