Did we win?

We got smoked, so par for the course.

I start them young, the kick and dodge ball games were incredibly intense and they had an All American at Tetherball with great length that had a deadly serve.  We used to call them Butthead instead of Bevis to get under their skin, fond memories.

I'm counting that as a moral victory ...

I remember that kid - didn’t he get kicked out of Bevis due to a massive pixie stick habit, like 50 a day?

I heard that he tried to go pro, blew out his glabella and is now calling Rwandan Sumo Wrestling on the Ocho

I haven’t kept up with him since his heyday, he had great potential however many careers are ended by taking a ball to the face, glad to hear he landed on his feet, eventually, kind of.

I think a lot of schools do this...at my son's elementary school the winner paid over $7k. It was also a live auction during a casino night fundraiser with open bar so perhaps that had an impact.

God I am so happy my kids are out of the rat race called grades 1-12 fundraising. It seemed like every day they were scratching for a buck here and a buck there from parents. It made my cheap Scottish soul nervous each time. Now if I can just figure out this college tuition thingy I am home free.
