For those with ESPN+,  they've got a great NHL series called "The Quest for the Cup". The 3rd edition for this year dropped last night and it goes thru Game 2 of our current series. In it they highlight the horrible goalie interference call on Point. The ref's explanation was pathetic and just glad it wasn't a factor in the outcome of the game.

As a side note, the same ref was working the Habs-Knights game last night and somehow missed when Marchessault almost took off Perry's nose with what sure looked like an intentional high stick. Glad Montreal pulled the game out, aided by a gift from Fleury ....

Fleury must have had nightmares over the tying goal. Montreal couldn’t have asked for an easier goal than that

Thanks for sharing, I'll check that out.

That Fleury disaster was classic.  That was a sucker punch to Vegas.  The game was won, and they just handed it to the Canadiens.  It kind of reminded me of that Bishop disaster when he ran into his own player way out of the net and collided, and the opposing team tapped it in, one of our old playoff games.

Lightning will need to win tomorrow night to avoid the possibility of the islanders having a close out home game in game 6. 2nd period last night was the difference especially poor passing and very bad turnovers that lead to goals. I believe the lightning will still win this but this has the feeling of it going to full 7 games.

As far as Vegas/Montreal goes id prefer Montreal but Vegas is missing their top center. If Montreal can win tonight that series will be practically over unless Montreal collapses

This is the first time in the last 6 postseason matchups that the Lightning have not had a 3-1 series lead.  Will they tighten up and feel the pressure, or show the heart of a Champion?  Tied 2-2 and now best of 3, these are the moments that we love sports.

Regarding the other Series now tied at 2-2 as well, Montreal missed a big opportunity last night.  I think Vegas goes on from here, but Montreal continues to surprise.

Lightning are making a statement tonight. Barsi might be suspended for game 6 which would be a devastating blow for the islanders

Yeah, I didn't think they would let the NY team lose their best player for a Game 6, especially after Rutta was able to get up under his own power.

Big close out game tonight I hope.

Game 7 is tomorrow. More than likely we will be missing Kucherov and Cernak. No excuses just win.
