Does anyone know what the extent of his shoulder injury was? was is really season ending or was it not worth coming back?

You may have answered your own question.

Yep. I do think he is talented and was hopeful last season he would come out the starter by 3rd game or so..but, QB was pretty much a cluster last season. As the country starts to open up some it gives a little hope that next season will be more normalized..hope-a hope-a hope-a

Last year was too similar to the Stephen Bench, Mike White fiasco where we could not find a starter to save our lives.

Someone just needs to separate themselves from the pack, and it needs to happen before conference play (preferably sooner).

I don't want to be in Year 4 of Scott's tenure and he is still trying to pick a QB.

I think this will be the year that happens. We have three legitimate players at the position.

if true, that certainly is a huge change from last year.

Glad to see somebody is starting to separate themselves from the pack, good sign at least.

I agree... then, when they announced McCloud, I couldn't even watch

You have 3 starters, you have none.

True...very true. Fingers crossed one makes a notable difference from the others.

Like Cade. His film from NCState looked pretty good. But, he was hurt there and then hurt here?? I think he is talented and a play maker(reminds me of grothe) but I hope he is durable??

He missed most of his senior year in HS due to injury as well

This is kind of an interesting read as to what happened at UNC and how he wound up at USF

Watching his game film from Va Tech and NCSU, it would be exciting to see him on-form and injury free in 2021
