Bigger faster and better, this is the type of spring practice sound clip bs that we missed last year.  I do like the idea of Smith trying to get on the field as a safety,  as an ex QB he has nice vision and is an athlete like his pops but better, let’s beat somebody this year, anybody as long as they are not just FCS FAMU.  If that is our only win then CJS is gone as well as our FB program.

Spot on about QBs making good safeties.  Wasn’t Nate Allen a HS QB that was moved to safety? He had a pretty good run in the NFL.  Let’s hope this works out as well.

Nate threw for over 5K yards in HS, disclaimer I forgot about that completely and googled, good catch.

Everyone looks good in short, a t-shirt and a helmet

Wait until we play someone not living in Tampa

I'm just happy, CJS found a solution for Jordan Smith. Dude grew up a true fan of the team and is a legacy player.

Who is his dad?

I did not realize we had any 2nd generation players - at 24 yrs in, it would make sense that we would

So we don’t get to play the Bucs opening day?

From his recruiting thread .... made me a little sad when I found it, though. RIP, Coach:

Other old school Bulls fans will appreciate this but he's the son of Former USF RB Quinton Callum.   Always awesome to bring a legacy home

I just noticed the RIP reference, thanks for the buzz kill.  I do love having a legacy and his dad was a great back, hoping his son is even better.  Will be rooting for all of the players but will be rooting for Jordan just a little bit more.

Or the "we tied the amount of spring practices last year with one...we break that tomorrow."

Well, that's it.  We have now doubled our preparation time from last year!

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
