Gus actually made bowl games frequently while playing in the SEC. I think his firing is similar to those who wanted Jim Leavitt out for under performance.

As he shouldn’t...at Auburn. We shall see. Not a Charlie Strong hire but let’s see what kind of offense he puts out. I still think we have a shot at them next year.

It's a good hire. Not happy for UCF, however Gus is a good coach. The SEC is brutal to everyone not named Nick Saban. I'm content with Jeff Scott for now. Let's see if he can figure out this hot mess.

So, once we hire the up and coming OC they go for a retread. Why do I feel like its going to work out for them?

Because you can’t remember the last bad hire they had in any sport. Meanwhile, our football team isn’t good enough to be called garbage. Our MBB team is hoping to one day be mediocre. Our baseball team is only going to make the conference tournament this year because UConn left. And our soccer team just lost 7-0.
