UCF and Malzahn could be beautiful together, a marriage of proven winners who just need the right opportunity to do even more than they already have. UCF has gone undefeated and won a New Year's Six bowl within the last five years; Malzahn has played for a national championship within the last 10. There has been some backsliding since then, but joining forces might bring out the best in both. Edited February 15, 2021 by Jon Tonison

Gus is going to Oviedo after 8 straight winning seasons in the SEC ... it may or not work but it is anything but the same as the Strong hire

We don’t hire bad people. We’re just either insanely unlucky or really bad at identifying whatever that “it” factor is that elevates a guy from good on paper to good in actuality. Scott, Holtz, Antigua, Mohl, Gregory, Butehorn... None of them was a bad hire. So we think CJS was a good hire because he was a co coordinator.......Did he ever call any plays? is he qualified to build a program? or is this just an OJT experience for him?
