The Jim will get his team so hyped for their game vs USF that they will shut out USF. Make USF pay for firing you and never bringing you back on, or even recognizing your existence. You deserved more.

Yeah that was a line of BS...money always talks.

Considering that C-USA and the AAC are both G5, I can not imagine that the money is so much better

Then again, it is SMU and they have a penchant for creative financing

AAC can afford much more than the other G5’s out there

On a positive note we successfully avoided losing to CJL, CWT and FAU all on the same day (which I do not think would have done CJS and favors in maintaining support, so that’s nice).

This is our modern super bowl!

I would imagine that the money is substantially better. The average AAC head coach made $2,220,000 in 2020. The average C-USA coach earned $950,000. Randy Shannon, as a coordinator at UCF, earned more than the average HC in CUSA. While we are both G5, the gap in budgets and salaries is significant. For instance, in Strong's last year at USF, his assistant coach salary pool was $3.4 million. Kiffini's pool in 2019 at FAU was $2 million, meanining that the average AAC assistant coach earns 70% more than his CUSA counterpart, with coordinators likely earning substantially more.

Do they want to "live" through that again in one lifetime (pun intended).

Has he coached in all states now? How do recruits react to his jitterbugging? Oh well.
