Precisely. The money they will be receiving will cover their entire shortfall from this budget year and give them a cushion for 2021-2022. Tennessee essentially bailed them out. I heard that the McDonald's bags filled with $5+ million are already on a truck down to Oviedo.

He made the right call as Tennessee is where coaching careers end.  Or as someone else stated, they start that loop of coaching for Saban lol.

Instead, they get bailed out by Tennessee and now get to go out and get the guy their AD wants from the jump.

I hope that they hire the wrong AD, make the wrong HC hire, and become mired in a decade of despair that was even worse than what we have been through (at least we had the QF years to keep us off the Skyway).  

They have been there done that.  0-10 is not that far past.  And I don't believe that was the only time that has happened.  Maybe twice or more?

So there is a history of putridness that they can always revert to.
