It’s true that none of this helps us much if we don’t help ourselves, but it would be very satisfying to watch them go down in flames because of how poorly - and with such little class - they handled their own success.

Another observation that was very interesting to me is that, despite their on-field success, the recruiting at UCF actually digressed over the last 3 seasons. How you cannot turn the type of success they experienced into at least landing a few HS 4-stars in Florida is an indictment on the coaching staff and their recruiting. While this may impact them adversely in the short-term, depending on the hires, they may be better off long-term. If Heupel was to have gone 6-6 or 7-5 next season (completely possible) there would have been loud calls for his firing. Also, there would have been a new AD and Heupel and the AD's philosophy may not have meshed well. Their program would have been strapped for cash and facing the possibility of a significant buyout. Instead, they get bailed out by Tennessee and now get to go out and get the guy their AD wants from the jump.

I hope that they hire the wrong AD, make the wrong HC hire, and become mired in a decade of despair that was even worse than what we have been through (at least we had the QF years to keep us off the Skyway).

Part of me wants to say that don't hope for their demise, cause Karma has a way of being a real Bit__.  At the same time, I can't help my hate and wish the very worst for them in this critical juncture.  Its hard to balance those 2 things in my brain.

But F_ It.....Go to He__ ucf!

Hopefully we can get our house in order. Houses rise and houses fall. These rides don’t last forever.

They lost an AD and a HC and are still in better shape than USF.  SOB.

This is so spot on, we need to clean our own house first.  But it is nice to see another house that is dirty and is in desperate need of the Royal Maids!

He did a terrible job at UCF for the past two years. He does not have the necessary tools to be a head coach.

I still think Jarren Williams can be the real deal. He played behind an ATROCIOUS O-line at Miami in 2019 and put up numbers that we would have died for last season. The only reason he transferred from The U is because the OC that believed in him was fired. There is a reason McCloud transferred, despite CJS having a really good relationship with his family.
