Keep telling yourselves it’s just private and booster money and remember that every time a school cuts back employees/programs and rolls out furloughs. Enjoy the fraud and financial incompetence.

I am not enjoying it but I am pretty sure that UT gets audited like any university. If it’s corrupt all the way up the political chain then that is another story. But if the rich folks want to pay the bill that is their prerogative. Most schools are cutting back due with layoffs due to bloated administrative costs predicated on the increase of student services which are legally mandated. Also once you can’t house and feed them that knocks off about 40% of the budget.

UT has a  USF grad as their lead internal auditor. Have met him at away games and stay in touch.

Got to be an interesting job for sure. That is how ucf got caught with their malfeasance last year.

He's got the whole State University program, not just the one campus.

I don't see anyone who hasn't already had P5 success taking this job.  It's the death knell for all up and comers.

Charlie was up and coming?

IIRC, Teddy Brigdewater was up and coming, Charlie just rode the wave, then face planted USF into purgatory

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
