Well it all depends on how that college experience worked out. Even though both Fortin and Williams transferred out, you could AP their experiences weren’t the same. Both at UNC and UM faced better consistent opposition than they would face at USF.

here were their stats

Fortin UNC stats 65 att, 32 completions 49.2% 388 yds 1 to 1 int

Williams UM 276 att 169 comp 61.2%, 2187 yds 19 tds, 7 int

now you bring in a freshmen that while admittedly good has not faced competition like he will at USF.

You also have the kid from Central that is very talented but really didn’t get enough practice time to be effective. He can make big strides with a Spring season.

Spring game will determine a lot but I feel that we are deeper and more talented going into 2021 than we did last year.

may the best guy win, competition is good.

Blake Barnett came from Alabama eventually to USF. There’s a reason these guys transfer. Let’s hope they can find success with us.

A transfer won the Heisman at Oklahoma.

I think our programs are apples and oranges. They are getting a different type of transfer than we are.

Did you see the Auburn Transfer at Liberty?

We have gotten plenty of transfers at various positions that have been very good, even great Bulls...yes, it is possible for this to happen at the qb position as well...

I know, I just don’t expect I guess. I think we are on the way up, and UCF is settling from their high. I really hope we beat them this upcoming season.

I think qb transfers at any level are a crap shoot but lower level programs probably need to take more risks, ending up in more failures.

You don’t bring in a 4 star QB to sit on the bench....

That team is stacking up rapidly and McCloud would not be on the radar for what Deion is building. There will be a transfer from a P5 school with one year left, if one comes in. They play this spring. Deion still has signing day in Feb. and then after spring ball to load up on talent from P5 schools.

I never said McCloud would go to Jackson State. I really don’t care what a 1aa school is doing. If I had to guess I would say Sanders will be an average coach at best due to his focus on individualism as a player.
