You made a typo. You meant abysmal C defense.

Randy Shannon is our Obi Wan (only hope)

Yeah I figured he would leave wish him the best.

I had hope that he was going to take a big step this season but it never worked out that way.  I will say the kid is a very tough he has played in several games last year he likely shouldn't be on the field (navy game) and took a beating but kept getting up while playing here.

They might RS McClain id imagine as with having Fortin, Williams and Marsh one of them should be able to do ok at qb I hope.

Don't think we have the luxury of RSing him.

This is the best move for McCloud. He looked really good in his last game so he'll have some options. I hope he finds success.

So when you add that to the rest of his career, he had one good game.

Good thing we didn't judge Flowers like that.

Difference with Flowers is he had more eligibility and wasn't a transfer.  I believe Fortin has a couple years left after this year but as a transfer i would expect some immediate success somewhere along the way. The one drive where he didn't score (at least I don't recall that he did) doesn't count as success.  Hopefully, he will prove me wrong.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
