Nkemakolam Asomba (53) Defensive Tackle - 2020: Did not see action...redshirt season.

 

I looked him up online and he is a converted basketball player. I saw film of him playing organized basketball at 300Ibs. He definitely is athletic, probably needs to hit the weights a little more to get that needed DT strength.

He has been our best offensive player in the past 2-3 years. **** near made a highlight reel every time he touched the ball. Why would he go to a FCS school? I think he will be ok at FAU. Closer to his family and a 2nd chance that he knows he will not get again.

The guy is a friggin head case...maybe he learned something mentally while he was here and can excel at FAU. But some teams don’t want the potential headache. Like you alluded it may be his last chance.

The defense only had 7 sacks for the entire season. I remember Selive and JPP having 7 sacks individually. I'm sorry, we need to add D-lineman even if it makes things uneven. At least a Grad transfer

Agree, a strong DL makes the rest of the defense that much better.  

Gotta build from the lines out.
