Thanks for replacing Corey, however why did we need to replace Corey?

Because people are makings threads about how Coastal Carolina turns them on. So I thought I should make a thread about players leaving this team which will make room for CJS to replace them with more impact players. a majority of our transfers from the past 3 years have been pretty decent. Why the fuss for this topic?

WR Jernard Phillips enters NCAA Transfer Portal

I doubt he gets a d1 offer. Maybe a d2 offer at best. What ever happened to the Darnell Salomon guy that was a 4 star recruit that left the program.

The new USF transfer (out) pipeline -

Level 1 - FAU

I could see McDoom, Nick Roberts, John Waller and/or Jenard Phillip going there.

Level 2 - Charlotte

Brett Kean is on the coaching staff

Level 3 - Howard University

Linsey Lamar is the WR coach

Level 4 - Samford

Chris Oladukan is probably lonely and may recruit a few transfers to join him.

Note - Salomon quit football period.

Corey is legend.  We need a Corey press release for the information drop on Monday.  I say this unironically.  These were fun times.

Feel free to post a prediction. Truth be told, I'm excited about the transfers we are going to get this off season. We have gotten a few decent players the past few years. Demontrey Jacobs and Thad Magnum came through this year. I think CJS will purge the P5 of disgruntled yet good players and give them some playing time next year.

Most recent Transfers:

  1. Jabreel Stephens
  2. Nick Roberts
  3. Eddie McDoom
  4. Armon Williams
  5. Tae-Avion Gray

My picks -

  1. Jernard Phillips,
  2. John Waller
  3. Jordan McCloud
  4. Darrien Grant

We are at 7 players.

My Updated picks -

Who here thinks we should try and snag FSU Safety transfer Cyrus Fanagan?

Also, I went through the list of uncommitted  transfers on 247, and found a bevy of players whose parents live in Fla. if we snag some of those guys, we could fill immediate holes on O-line, and overall D. I didn’t bother with QB, RB, or WR spots. I think we have enough talent to build up there. I was looking for something more to allow better blocking or more pressure from D-line.

This thread is epic!!! LOL

CJS gets a pass this year, but the hounds will be howling next year. USE the portal to find some players and there are many holes to fill.  Must find a QB and some OL and some dogs on Defense. I would go for P5 guys that are big and chips on their shoulders.

There is some good sized players on 247 portal list. I focused on only Florida native players when I looked. I feel like those guys would be easier to bring home
