I think he was one of those players that weren't given a fair chance. He was productive everywhere he went, yet still had to grind to keep a job.

He was always terribly undersized, even for a DE/OLB.  That he was productive is what allowed him to get chances, which he took advantage of.

Maybe we can finally get some intelligent, dominating players from this transfer portal...

6’ 4” 270 was not terribly undersized with the Cowboys but you are right he had the length but struggled to keep the weight on early in his career, he beefed up and had a nice NFL career and like many of us he was one of my favorites.

So CCS had to purge the talented players that either had bad attitudes and/or grades left behind by CWT.

CJC had to purge the players that had bad attitudes and/or grades left behind by CCS.  Anyone notice what Charlie didn't leave behind?

CCS left us Brain Battie, Chris Townsel, Mac Harris, Leo parker, Kelly Joiner, Xavier weaver, Demaurez Bellamy, Sean Atkins, Antonia grier, Donovan Jennings, Dwayne Boyles...etc. He had a bunch of misses, but I'm good with the ones that worked out.

Not sure why you are giving him credit for Battie, Harris, and Townsend, weren’t they true freshman.
