Shorter QB drops, quicker reads, less progressions, better run blocking schemes, more QB roll-outs and most importantly, the WRs made some plays

Easily the best game plan Weis put together all season - he gave the offense plays that they could run and they executed well

Why haven’t we been running this offense all year? Today’s game was actually fun to watch. It sucks losing, but the game was enjoyable.

It helped that UCF has a pretty bad defense, but I was happy to see the ball moving and USF scoring TDs.

I think this explains how good the offense looked at times today.

For sure, but McLoud's passes were much crisper and some of these guys were making some plays.   Besides, it isn't like we face the '86 Bears normally each week.

I was there for the first half and watched the 4th on and off when I got home.  I'm not sure I would call the passes "crisp".  On target?  More than not.  The 1st TD pass was a lollipop jump ball and there were some others like that.

We played bad defenses at other times this season - the difference that I saw today was Weis adjusting the scheme to take advantage of UCF’s gaps, while calling plays that relied less on individual effort and more on collective play - 8 players caught passes, while 4 different players ran

It was fun to watch and hopefully is a sign of what we may see with a full off-season of coaching

He hit several guys in stride including the last TD. I'm not calling him Joe Montana, but there has been improvement over the course of the year.   My biggest point is that the offensive side of the ball has shown improvement, defensive side not so much

He definitely made some nice throws.  Not arguing that but we did win some jump balls today.  Here's hoping the MBB team can do that tomorrow.
