Could turn this into a cinncy vs ucf hate fest?

That is no fun, we are not even good enough to really hate Cincy and even when c loses it does not bring the same satisfaction when we were good so ignore them, the rest of the CFB has so let’s join the masses.

So many teams that postponed games I wonder if they will push the bowl games and conference titles to a later date. Even in a losing season I would like to enjoy a full schedule.

There may only be a few bowl games this year.

No but it brings a smile to my face and a little bit of pleasure.

It used to, reminds me of growing up loving the Sox and hating the Cubs.  When they both sucked a Cubs loss was as good as a Sox win, but once a team excelled it did not bring the same joy when you suck and they don’t.

It'll be interesting to see if see if some teams who have accepted formal bowl invitations will have to cancel due to a Covid outbreak close to gameday, and how bowl will look to replace those schools of all the other schools have closed things down for the year. Would agree that means those bowl games likely don't get played.

Without fans, tickets, hotels etc... the bowl season is not happening, who would buy plane tix, reserve hotel rooms, rent cars and buy game tix to be informed some of the team came in contact with a cousins brothers friend and will miss the game due to a 21 day quarantine regardless of a positive covid test.

I got an email from a rep that said it may possibly be rescheduled for Dec 5 or Dec 19, otherwise refunded.

Dec 5 is my birthday, a win against Navy will be a great present.

Disagree. There's only been one reported cancellation of an FBS bowl game so far (Fenway Bowl), so it sounds like they are going to give it a try. I could see a few games get cancelled late if one of the invited teams has a Covid outbreak, but would expect most of these games to be played.

I think bowls would prefer to be able to sell tickets, and may still find a way to get reduced capacity crowds in - 10 bowl games had attendance of <25k last season, so I am sure those lower tier games can make it work. Higher tier games with larger crowds likely will still be a TV draw and may need to adjust payout to account for any significant decline in revenue.

The fact that its mid-November and there has only been 1 reported cancellation is a good sign.

Actually the following bowls have been cancelled:

Bahamas Bowl

Hawaii Bowl

Red Box Bowl

Holiday Bowl

Fenway Bowl

Reports are another 5 are on the chopping block.

More hysteria...  We cant even enjoy our Bulls getting blown out in peace while asking why Jordan McCloud is starting for his 36th game in a row.
