The denial is strong with some. We have a handful of middle of the road players who can "compete" at the mid level of the conference but it is a blatant fact that CCS left us with players who are not at the level of AAC football. Or maybe even CUSA level.

He also wiffed on quite a bunch of players that never stepped foot in campus or have since transferred out. The cupboard is baaaaarrrreee. We've got kids starting that transferred from much smaller schools this season.

I’m willing to let this hot mess play out. The talent is severely lacking talent minus Ford and Bellamy (there’s also a couple receivers that are ball players). When you don’t have the opportunity to coach during the Spring, you’re going to have issues. We’re going to be bad next season as well. Hopefully we’ll have a decent QB in year three to right Strong’s failures as a coach.
