This is a pathetic conversation, to be sure.  At face, a grown man who knew the rules acting as if he was put out to wear a mask because he was so offended and it was so hard.

One last thing, the anti-masker crowd is pathetic.  I’m in Spain where not virtually a single face is without a mask for the love  of their country and fellow countryman. They actually take pride in it.  Love your country.  The least patriotic group of Americans I’ve ever witnessed are this group of Americans generating any excuse to not wear a mask despite the scientific  evidence to the contrary. People acting as if wearing a mask is a ‘big lift’ for them.  They’re so ‘put out’.  You know, like they’re being forced into donating pooled plasma without consent or donating a kidney for their fellow man.

Grow up and be an American. You’re honestly pathetic.

Do yourself a favor and stay in Spain.  Show me one study that says these masks make a difference.  Masks have become a fashion statement and a way to virtue signal.  Some are bedazzled, some are crouched, some are buffs worn as masks and most people don’t wear them correctly anyway.  If the entire nation wore properly fitted N95 masks that would make a difference, but thats not happening is it.  The whole thing is a sham to get people to live in fear because when a society is in fear they can be controlled.

And just for the record I’ve had the China virus and I’ve donated plasma.  So STFU!

Here's the thing.  Everyone keeps saying "we knew the rules going into the stadium so live with it".  I'm totally for masks, enforcing rules and ridding us of this virus over the next year.  The rule is you wear a mask at all times except when eating or drinking.  If enforced to the max (meaning drink for 15 seconds, pull up mask for 15 seconds, drink for 15 seconds, pull up mask for 15 seconds, etc) it's a horrible experience with $20 cocktails.  I'd be fine if the rule was to wear a mask at all times and there will be no beverage or food sold whatsoever so you don't ever need to remove your mask.  Again, I'm all for masks but this was a bit over the top last night that outside you couldn't have your mask off to drink when there was no one within 50 feet of me, yet inside in the club at tables that were distanced about 10 feet apart, you could remove your mask to drink and eat.

Guys, early on I was the one pleading with people to mask up when going to the games so we could have nice things like seeing our Bulls in person. Now with the performance on the field, it's really tough to watch this team in person even if there were no rules on fan attendance.

GO BULLS!

I wonder how many people you transmitted the virus to and the impact you had on them personally and their families? Disgusting.

You obviously know nothing about this virus.  I followed all CDC guidelines when I had the virus and now I have antibodies and am the safest person to be around.

So, does that mean you didn't transmit it to anyone else? You seemed to kind of skip over that part of his statement.

Look.  I followed all the rules was working from home and wore the mask everywhere I went and you know what I still got it.  As soon as I had symptoms, I isolated myself and followed the guidelines.

Did I transmit to anyone else?  Who knows?  I certainly hope not.  I understand this is a serious disease for some people and we should protect those groups, but society needs to move forward while protecting the vulnerable.

If you gonna go out in public, just follow the rules instead of being a Karen. Even my 3 year old kid doesn’t mind wearing a mask. A piece of cloth over your face shouldn’t bother you much to complain about a policy the stadium has. You’re just making the jobs of the security staff harder. This virus is ******* with our lives as we know it. Can’t wait til it’s over. Already lost a close friend to the virus. Hopefully 2021 is a better year for all of us.

My sister got it two weeks ago and has a 2 year old that she has had to isolate from. I'm sorry for your loss - once you know someone who is directly impacted it feels more real.

Thanks man, it’s been a tough year. Hopefully your sister is doing better now! Must be tough for her kid to be away from her for that amount of time.

Okay - now that is a lot more sensible that what most of us are taking away from your other posts.

I’m not some heartless bastard.  I just felt that the RJS mask policy is over the top.  I understand it’s their house and they make the rules which is fine.  I’ll just resort to watching crappy Bulls football at home rather than in person until things change.

Wait- society has rules? Like seatbelts, taxes and rules against ****?  f-ing democrat socialists.  Wait, I have to pay taxes for kids to attend public education- but I dont have kids- who do they think they are- commies.

Apparently the only good rules are the ones you agree with. The other rules are instituted by Commie bastards ...
