As someone who knows people whose health has been personally compromised by this virus, you, sir, have your head in the sand. Your attitude is ignorant and dangerous. And, please, there is no need for you to respond, unless you’d like to take your mask-less ass to a spot I can send you to visit with some who are dealing with this “fake pandemic” that’s just like the flu.

If the fatality rate for the flu is .1% or a little less and Fauci says Covid is 10x more lethal  than wouldn’t the fatality rate for Covid be 1.0% and the CDC says 5x’s so wouldn’t that be .5%?  These guys don’t do much to instill confidence in their findings, how do they come up with a 2-3% fatality rate?

Well said Dave.  And i totally support and agree with all that you said.

I think people that havent had a personal experience with this either are in denial or just living in their own personal fantasy world.

This **** is for real.  I know from personal experience.

The lethality of this virus for people in the 60-70 age bracket is under 1%. For 70+ it goes up to 3.5-4%. 

Look obviously I'm not going to change your mind. But have you considered the long term implications of humans not exposing themselves to viruses and bacteria? Do you know what happened to the Native Americans when the Europeans came here? The Natives hadn't built up any immunity to anything because they hadn't been exposed to anything like what the Europeans brought over so many of them died. It's not hard to imagine a world in the next few hundred years if we continue this path of shutting ourselves off from nature and barricade ourselves off in our houses. It's a losing strategy for humanity imo. 

That's also not considering the precedent of letting a small group of people (government) dictate behavior and social norms on such a large scale. I think that is extremely dangerous to allow them to make claims based on unproven science, then allow them to make life altering mandates because of it where you support people being arrested and locked in a cage for making their own health decisions. I mean at some point I think personal responsibility needs to play a part in this. If I felt that I might not survive the virus, I would not leave my house. 

I think your position has merit, but for you to dismiss other people who have different opinions as "selfish" or hope they get it is completely delusional to the threats your opinion brings.
