Not really...the conference has enough average teams where we will sneak up on one of them

If we can claw our way up there and then get a transfer QB, I would feel better about next year.

Woo...man...not ready to go next year just yet. I still have to get through basketball season where I am sure there will be heartbreak there as well.

So we have different standards.  To me it was like bad pro wrestling when I knew the outcome.

Either Scott gets a transfer/JUCO QB and RB or we will be looking for new coach after year 4.

I am not picking on any players.  I just don't see any real playmakers that can carry a team or that can be counted on to make a play when needed.

I think Ford has the "want to"  I don't think he has the body for it.

The offense is fine (besides some of the playcalling in timely situations.)

The defense needs work. Have we gotten a sack all year? Used to be a time where opponents feared our pass rush, now it's a joke.

Are we watching the same team?  There are playmakers out there...we need a bigger back for change of pace..quite frankly I would start rotating Parker in ...Williams and Dollison are playmakers at wr...Ford is a playmaker at rb...we do need another playmaker or two, namely at qb though...

If you are giving him four years a better strategy would be to get a freshman who can do the job. Otherwise you might be right back where you started 2 years later.

Playmakers make plays. Not seeing plays being made.

Do we have athletes?  Yes.  Playmakers not so much.

You have to give Scott the full 5 years. I want to see how thing develop for him. I am just making a statement that if I am Scott, I am not hitching my wagon onto McCloud as job security for the long term. I am pretty sure he knows that.

I am sorry but if ford is not a playmaker than I don’t know what one is.  We should have more speed, size and talent but Ford is making plays all over the place.
