BulledOver 442
I would hope, if you are a USF grad, fan, university/athletics supporter... it wouldn't take any push or prodding to solicit donations. Some people donate quietly and give what they can.
CousinRicky 2,832
One person we know pretty well was let go and one we know but not as well. Such a sad thing but when we heard that Harlan and Utah were furloughing it was just a matter of time here. Hopefully they'll be brought back asap.

I've had many rough days over my 24+ years (yikes!) in the department, but yesterday was by far the worst. We had to say goodbye to so many great people. Thank you to all of those who have mentioned their continued support to the the Bulls Club!! We can't be what we are without you.

Rocky Style 1,471
So the article says due to coronavirus they couldn't hit revenue targets. Isn't there a giant step missing in the middle of those two things? Don't just couch everything to coronavirus yada yada landscape the way it is. Being specific about why people are losing jobs on a large scale would really help. There are other options than just accepting things the way we are told by corporate media entities. I’m thinking because it’s an article in the Sports section about how our athletic department is responding to the loss of revenue.
Jonesy Bull 522
This is such a hard time for so many people. Those of us that have been able to keep our jobs or work from home should thank the Lord for our good fortune. Good luck to these folks. Here is hoping that you find alternate employment quickly and thank you for your hard work and dedication to USF. Regarding the implications to our programs. Good news at least no sports have been cut. This does make our recruiting efforts that much tougher.
