4.3m people watched the ND game this weekend. 4,300,000.

I can't remember the last time even just 43 people watched something I was doing.

I think he is saying let's learn, have fun, and soak it in. Honestly, I don't think he will say this exactly, but he knows we just need a conference championship. That 2011 win was cool and a big boost to fan morale, but in the end it did little for the program overall. I think he would take a conference trophy 10 times out of 10 versus a hyped up ND win, only to lose to Cincy 2 weeks later.

A loose football team always plays better... the big thing is if we are up in the 2nd half, do we tighten up or remain loose.

If we don't have to play perfect to beat a "top 10" team, we're further along than a lot of us have realized ....

Fun fact (or not): USF is 1-4 against Brian Kelly.

He owned us when he was at Cincy

Don’t see that happening however if we are up than we stay loose and ND starts to tighten up around the neck.  His statement is everything to gain and nothing to lose because nobody expects us to be competitive.  This is coach speak 101, in the end means next to nothing.

I think your statement has another few days of applicability.

Yep, I am getting my money’s worth.  Was talking shat to a guy and wife on Saturday that just moved in a couple houses down from South Bend, he worked at the University.  The wife was not amused.

I was thinking of taking the points and ND. That way I can’t lose...unless we lose by 24/25/23 points. I would pay $100 for a close game.
