BTW, CC expanded their stadium to 21K in 2019, yet their best attendance is listed as 17,249 on Oct 12, 2019, with everything else in the 15s🤔

"CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina football team made history on Sunday, Oct. 18, as the Chanticleers were ranked No. 24 nationally in the Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports and No. 25 overall in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll.
 
The top 25 national ranking is the first for the Chanticleers in the program's Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) history (since 2017).
 
The Chanticleers were last nationally ranked in the top 25 in 2016 when they spent the entire season in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) STATS Top 25 poll while playing an FCS schedule and transitioning from the FCS to the FBS level.
 
The newly nationally-ranked Chanticleers (4-0, 2-0 Sun Belt) will host Georgia Southern (3-1, 1-1 Sun Belt) at Brooks Stadium this Saturday, Oct. 24, at noon ET on ESPNU."

 

Our team of statistical research scientists and epidemiologists would say that there is the srtong likelihood that - at this particular instant in time - yes, Coastal Carolina has a better athletic program than USF assuming that football is the primary consideration.  We must remember, however, that driving time from Conway, South Carolina to Myrtle Beach is nearly half of the driving time from Tampa to St. Pete Beach, so that has to factor into analysis as well.

Who gives a **** about Coastal Carolina? Why is this even a thread? Yes, USF sucks but geez, some of you guys just need to go find another team to root for b/c you obviously cant handle being a fan of a team that is not having success. Save yourself the streas and just come back when we are winning again.

The irony of you telling me to lighten up. You are the biggest, "life is over for the USF football program, we suck, the world is coming to an end...etc" type of individual on this page. We suck! I get it, but can we not still be happy, can we not still hope for the best, can we not celebrate the team's effort in the loss, can we not be jealous of other schools, and can we not be optimistic?  This page has become so depressing. Ive seen blogs of other schools that have bad teams and most of them simply make funny jokes and are grateful for any win they get. Why must we be so bitter?

What program said f u? If you are talking about USF, we have hired a coordinator from a national champ, just like C hired one. Difference is our guy inherited a hot mess not an undefeated team.

Could be still upset about not selling alcohol at the last home game ...... there were a multitude of panties in a wad over that one.
