My problem is that a few years ago I had my TV and sound installed by some guy who has my main TV viewing room on wireless remotes and has about 3 million wires and cables in a closet to have out of sight.  The guy was good but has become unreliable and it takes weeks to get him out to reprogram or hook up anything. I've got Chromecast and a DVR and don't know if I could even add a ROKU at this point.  I think HULU is on my TV and DVR.

If hulu is on your TV, you are good, just upgrade your account. But yes for the Roku you would need to hook it up with a HDMI port.

Does HULU have a DVR situation or do you just watch things On Demand?

So then I could call Frontier, tell them I just want internet and send back their DVR boxes and keep their router?

You're getting your sports fix on there?  CBSSN, NBCSN? ESPN? I'm trying to look on their site while chatting with you guys.

is the DVR just for recording? if so HULU live will give certain hours and has  a TON of playback content

All of it. plus BIG ten, ACC, Sky sports. the whole gauntlet from what I have found.

Yes, we just time shift.  Just saw on their site they give you 50 hours in the Cloud.

I found that I basically stopped recording because I could just play back most of the shows I was recording. I could never watch recorded games anyway but I can see that being a benefit.

Does anyone know if ESPN+ carries all ESPN content like ESPN, ESPN2, etc.?  Or just the stuff that no one wants to watch like USF football.   🙂
