I missed a wedding for a USF home game.  My wife was NOT happy with me, but I used the same logic as you.  Getting married on a Saturday during college football season, especially in the Southeast, is just flat out inconsiderate and selfish!

FACE MASKS: Face masks will be required to be worn by all fans and all stadium staff at all times upon entering Raymond James Stadium.

That was actually only 1/2 of my daughters wedding. This will be only the 2nd full game.

Our daughter got married on a game day but it was the first creampuff of the season. The next week by son-in-law and I made the trip to Gainesville.  So there was a tradeoff.  Actually today is their 10th anniversary.

Exactly!  If I’m socially distanced in my pod of 2, I don’t see why I still have to wear a mask.

Not exactly, I got married Aug 30, 1997 and we did not honeymoon until October so I was able to attend our first game.  In addition, I did not take the wife out on our anniversary last year and instead enjoyed the beat down that UW gave us in my media room, drunk and yelling at the tv.  Marriage is all about sacrifices and she has to make them in order to have the pleasure of spending her life with me, seems only fair.
